Samantha and Marcie are best friends, and partners with the police department. Samantha, during her off hours, is studying to be an attorney. Lawana Scales is a native of Philadelphia who grew up in the
intercity and has worked as a television executive, producer, and
talent for over 40 years. She has received many awards for her
productions, which have taken her around the world. Being married
to one person for over 52 years and raising an accomplished
daughter while working a busy schedule gives her much insight into
striving to make dreams a reality
